Politics

I understand that not everyone likes the way the country is run sometimes and may not like some of the laws that have passed, but that is no reason to wish someone dead or threaten their life.

This article, http://www.newsweek.com/id/236196, ticked me off a little bit due to what I stated above. Violence, threats and death aren't the answer if you're unhappy about something. Talking it out, or learning to accept it is the mature, responsible thing to do, and honestly when it comes to the way lawmakers are running the country, it's the only way to handle the situation. You don't threaten someones life using angry, foul and unnecessary language, you should just accept the way it is and try to make the best of it in order to move on with your life.

Tiger Woods

While I agree that Tiger's actions were wrong, I don't think it's the publics place to get involved in his personal affairs. It's something that should be worked out between he and his wife, not the media.

He was wrong in his actions and I'm sure he has payed the price with the amount of attention this whole scandal has caused. I don't believe that celebrity's lives should be made any more public than an average person's live though, and I don't think his mistake should have a negative impact on his career. He may not be the same role-model he was believed to be in the past but he's still an amazing golfer and he should still be able to share his talent with the world, like with this past week in the Masters.

The lives of celebrities have always been made a huge deal, and society feasts on the mistakes they make because it gives them reason to feel better about themselves and a reason to point out to celebrities that they aren't perfect. Personally, I don't see the interest in following around celebrities and learning all the private details of their lives. You know why? It's none of anyone's business.
