Haddonfield

After reading the article Haddonfield Board Sued For Off-Campus Policy I realized that it's unfair to punish students for things they do in their life off-campus. While teenagers in High School should not be participating in harmful and illegal activities like drinking and doing drugs anyway, what they do outside of school isn't something they should be punished for inside of school, it's something that should be handled by their parents. It isn't fair to be kicked off of a sports team because you like to go to parties on the weekends with your friends after your team wins the big game.

I'm not a teen that approves of the kind of behavior that most teenagers are subjected to today, like the drinking and drugs, but if they get in trouble at all for something they are doing in society, they should be punished by their parents or the police, not by the school board and their coaches.
